Apparently, the two haven’t spoken to each other in a very long time, which is why Debbie Nelson has made it her “dying wish” to reconcile before it’s too late. Having reached a point in her life where she has lost all hope and strength to live, Nelson’s only desire at this point is to put an end to the longtime feud that has consumed both their lives, Eminem’s grandmother says for the tabloid.
“It’s do or die and Marshall needs to see her before it’s too late.” Betty Kresin tells the media. Of course, Eminem is not the only person with whom Nelson wants to make peace before the time comes, the grandmother explains, since she’s also looking to retie the bond with her granddaughter, Em’s daughter, 13-year-old Hailie. As of now, the rapper has reportedly not responded to his mother’s plea yet, as neither has he offered any indication that he is planning to do so in the near future.
Sadly, Kresin adds, things have to happen fast because Nelson is losing all hope as she’s nearing her death hour. “She needs heart bypass surgery and she should weigh about 120 pounds, but she’s some 50 pounds below that. Her breast cancer is in remission and she no longer has the will to live.” Kresin tells about Nelson’s dire condition.
The feud between Eminem and his mother reached a climax in 2007, when she released an explosive tell-all autobiography called “My Son Marshall, My Son Eminem: Setting the Record Straight On My Life As Eminem's Mother.” Very well received by critics, the book only came to accentuate the tension in their relationship, as Eminem also continued to rap about his mother in a very negative way.
