Matthew fox played college football, Despite holding the secrets of "Lost" under lock and key for six years, the show's star Matthew Fox has no problem revealing juicy details about himself.

In fact, the actor opens up in the May issue of Playboy and divulges details of his first sexual experience while growing up on a Wyoming beer barley farm and cattle ranch.

"I was 12," Fox, now 43, tells the mag, adding that his unnamed lover "was about two years older than me. It wasn't her first time."

He adds, "I can actually see the event in my mind's eye, like photographs. It was in Dubois, Wyoming, where the population sign probably says, to this day, about 1,000."

Fox goes on to describe that the "absolutely terrible and awkward" experience happened "literally on the ground by a river while a rodeo was going on in town.

"Just two f------ kids lying down and pulling our pants down Though losing his virginity wasn't the best experience, Fox made up for it during his time as a football player in college.

"My sex escapades at Columbia were in my freshman year," he says. "That's what you're supposed to do. We didn't get any of the benefits of being football heroes. There was plenty of sex but no football-hero sex."

The actor didn't care to comment on a tabloid report that claimed he had an affair with a stripper, however he didn't hold back from discussing his loyalty to his wife of 19 years, Margherita.

"The subject of fidelity is very personal," he explains. "People definitely come after you for all kinds of crazy reasons, but I've always been fairly suspicious of people."

He continues, "Margherita and I have been best friends and best lovers. She's the love of my life. We have managed to both be intensely independent and maintain that strength in our relationship. I am a man, and I am an appreciator of women.
"At the same time, Margherita is the s---. I can honestly say we're good together. We've been together for 23 years, so let's leave it at that."
